Thanks. It's been through hell and back. And no, FG Monster Truck 2WD. I got one in like 2010 which was essentially an on road car, it was beat but super cheap. Had to buy the side plates, new motor, truck wheels / tires and F150 body.

Truly is. But now, I have a job, so it seems no more finding $500 junkers with dead engines on Craigslist to try and fix! I'll be doing minimum wage roughly 30-40 hours a week, but its net amount is pretty decent.

Front mount intercooler will be coming up soon to help battle with the heat. The lip kit, diffuser, and grill are really recent. End goal would be a rotated turbo setup. 58MM size(which is way bigger than stock), and put me around 450WHP. Also toying with the idea of running flex fuel. Still paying the motor build off. Soooooooooo much money. Sigh....

The Z31's are cool looking especially the last ones. But they're heavier than a s13 and there's way more documentation for s13 sr20 swaps and putting a turbo on a KA24. Sure you'll spend a bit more initially for a decent s13 but you'll save time, have a lighter car, and potentially spend less on the swap. The trans may be the same between z31 and s13 but the driveshaft may still need to be modified, may need a different bell housing, then there's the engine mounts, etc, etc.
Trust me when I say project cars always cost more and take way longer than anticipated. My 1967 Camaro project is going on 5 years now. Sure it stalled because of my new house and other things, but even while I was working on it I ran into unexpected things that added months more time to the project. Going with something more documented can shave lots of time and cost. Z31 V8 and VG30det swaps are way more documented for example.
To me Flexfuel means the vehicle automatically detects the fuel (usually either pump gas or E85) being run and adjusts the ignition timing, injector pulse width and boost accordingly. At least that's what factory "Flexfuel" vehicles do. The alternative is to manually load the E85, race or pump gas map into the ecm when you fill up the tank with a fuel that's different from the last time you filled up.
For those that don't k is E85 is 85% ethanol 15% gas and has a higher octane than pump gas. So you can run more boost and ignition timing for more power. But E85 also requires more of it to be injected into the engine than gas so larger injectors and very different injector maps are needed in the ecm. In short you need to tune each separately and have the proper map loaded in the ecm for the fuel being used. Switching from gas to E85? Gotta switch maps somehow.
I'm curious as to what he's running for engine management and how the flex fuel capability would be added.

COBB Tuning provides a flex fuel sensor for my car, for 700 bucks. COBB also provides my engine management that allows me to run aftermarket / pro tune engine maps. Tunes are done on a dyno. The flex fuel sensor works in combination with my accessport(engine management), along with fuel pressure and ethanol % gauges that will adjust boost and timing accordingly depending on how much ethanol the sensor detects.
Pros:
Lower chance off detonation.
Run higher boost and timing.
Colder charge (hence less det)
Cons:
HORRIBLE gas mileage
Must get rid of immediately, cant not let it sit in your car. Will corrode parts.
Hard to get E85* fuel. Not readily available depending on location
*Not always E85. Concentration levels change on season and gas station
Pros:

Ethanol % does vary. Some stations have higher %, some lower. The other issue is E85 isn't always 85% ethanol, sometimes the mix isn't exact, ethanol evaporates, moisture is wicked into the fuel making some of it water, etc. Interesting fact, finding 100% ethanol for sale is very hard, but 99% is available. The reason is because 100% ethanol is regulated as the kind of alcohol you drink and is taxed accordingly which for vehicle use obviously raises the price unnecessarily. But 99% ethanol doesn't qualify for the booze tax so that's what the suppliers mix up for vehicles to avoid the extra tax.

Yeah. My dog likes to lick one spot on his leg. He gets it raw (down to the skin) and I have to wrap it every night so he doesn't get at it. Everyday, before I go to work, I have to put the "cone of shame" on him, 'cause I don't trust him with just his leg wrapped. It's so annoying, yet I don't want him to lick his leg off. He was so good about leaving his leg alone for the past couple of months, and now he's back at it. Next vet visit he's gonna give the Vet an earful with his condition.

Long story short: Cable co. seen old modem with weak signal; bough new modem; Gable Guy seen issues with incoming signal, gave us a separate line for internet.
We now have fast internet...for a whole 10 minutes at a time. Router purchased today...up and running again.
