They said that about the A-4 as well. What? Six, seven years ago, still waiting. The A-4 isn't even shown on their website any longer. Good luck getting parts!
Seriously, after the Mig 29, the A-4, and now the SU-27, I'm surprised anyone is still willing to take the chance.
True, they design and build gorgeous ultra scale jets, but, history says the LG will be crap, you won't get a manual, and support will be virtually non-existent.
Just my .02.

Bummed. I was holding out hope that they would make the single seater. I think the two seater is ugly. Here is the reply I got from them via vogelsang.
the availability/lead time depends on the scheme.
Is your customer interested in the all silver or the painted version (362000)?
Price is USD 4990.00 for the all silver version and USD 5549.00 for the painted one (white/red/blue).
We do not produce a single seater version, since the double seater offers the better flight characteristics due to the higher fuselage.
There is more information on the website which might be of interest for you/the customer.

All I can say about this ARF is that, it is AWESOME....All the control surfaces and doors are already done for you with working canopy and air brake. About 70% of the SU-27 is carbon fiber. Has good panel lines and rivets. The nose gear could've used a little bit more attention, its missing the actuator that is aft of the nose strut and the door that conceals it. Also missing are the RWR/Elient sensors on the intake ducts. I am going to attempt to stay in the 55-60lbs range thus i'm running 2 Jet Central Cheetahs 160 SE which give me 72 lbs of combined thrust on 291oz of fuel, which gives 8.5 minute flight time. In fuel alone my weight is around 19 lbs. Running Spektrum high voltage servos all the way around. I hope to be the first one in the air, but finances are tough since it's 18k jet when done... The last jet I flew that was this expensive for me was the Flyeagle F-14 (Tommycat), which came in @ 15k.
I hope much success and enjoyment to any other pilots and builders out there... Keep them Flying....

Awesome pics Geoff! This plane is on top of my list. I'm eagerly awaiting for the early adopters to report back before I pull the trigger.
