That's what I do with gassers, but because of the triangle shape of the tanks on this plane, I fear that the clunk wont be in the fuel in certain angles.
There are two tanks on this plane, both have a triangle shape.

I was a little nervous on that also. I used Viton inside with no pipe. Have a few flights on it and I have not had any issues. So far it works fine for me.

I've also seen instead of the brass tube guys put straws over the clunk line. I haven't tried that yet but it seems like a good idea.

I've had a clunk get stuck in the forward part of the tank before resulting in a dead-stick but it was on a 3d gas plane after a blender. I'm not really sure how you could get the clunk stuck forward on a jet but I still think it's good practice to use the brass tube or straw.

Oh and forgot to mention I only use Viton for clunk lines... never needs to be changed..

Just weighed mine and it comes out at 14.4kg with 450 grams of lead in the nose to get it to balance at front of wing tube

I see the Toprc retracts have been re-designed. They look much better.
The old ones were prone to falling apart.
Anyone know what happened to the proposed new jet trainer that was to use Odyssey wings?

I have the Kingtech K142G4 and the Electron retracts. Total weight with 4oz added to the front is 30.5 lbs. I do not have a pilot nor the cockpit installed. I wanted the lightest possible plane.

Default Odyssey colours

I might have missed it but is this plane available unpainted? This thing is one of the better looking newer jets and is craving a military scheme (other than the orange and white scheme that is)

Is there an easy fix for the Odyssey Navy scheme USS ENTERPRISE decal error? IE " USS ENTE RPRISE ". The model has been in production for about four years, yet they still produce it with this error.

Hello gentlemen,

For those of you using the 2nd Gen Top RC gear controller, have you found a solution to the brake- on/off command?
I have been adjusting the transmitter ATV for the brake command channel to soften the aggressive ‘near-lock’ command.
Has anyone used and alternative solution while retaining the Top RC controller?
Thanks ,
Franko

Another option is the Assan 63 brake steering gyro unit.

I'm building one of these for a friend, he brought the plane over tonight and I have a couple questions..

Looks like the only way to get the thrust tube out of the fuse is to remove the bell mouth? Is there another trick I haven't thought of? Getting it back on while inside the fuse will be fun.
Has anyone ordered turnbuckles for all the control surfaces and happen to have the sizes they used?
Does anyone have pics of the mods required for the Electron gear?
Anyone have pics showing how they routed the wires around the fuel tanks and the transition from the rear fuse half to the front?

I measured the CG and was surprised to see that 220mm is the leading edge of the wing tube, we will be shooting for 215-200 CG.
