The answer to your question is actually very simple…..as much as required, you may be using more flaps….different CG, may fly your approach way faster ect there’s some factors to take into consideration…I never put anything for compensation…..the first flight I do rough trimming and see how she fly land and repeat….until I’m happy, then work on the gyro setup…..ect ect….

So go out and trim your plane for your situation…

The instructions specify 5mm. I have 5 mm of down elevator with full flaps, I use Flight Modes (Conditions) I then fine trim during the first Landing. You need the 5 mm as a starting point.

I flew my Joker three times since last year. It had a K70 in it and flew perfectly. I have not quite got the hang of landing it yet. That will come with a few more flights.
I decided to replace the K70 with a P100-Rx because I wanted the K70 for another jet.
I noticed that Dave W. has 1/4" (6mm) shims between the turbine and mounting plates, I check mine and found this was also needed to center the turbine in the thrust tube.
I also found that former the mounting plates are attached too was glued in crooked, but not enough to matter, because I can get the turbine on center line.

I got a cross hair laser by Bosch and started used it to check the alignment of things. (new tool, new ways to get in trouble)

And I found the thrust tube is not parallel with the turbine mounts in the fuselage. The back of the pipe appears higher than the front. It looks like up-thrust.
I have not changed the thrust tube mounting and there really is only one way it can fit in the fuselage. Perhaps the angle is on purpose? The airplane flies just fine the way it is, thrust adjustments do not affect the pitch.
Has anyone else found this condition?

I would think the mounting plates are a 0-degree incidence. But maybe not, they could be off. Are the stabs at 0-degree incidence? One thing that I miss are drawings for the model airplanes. CARF does a great job making the models but there is nothing to check them against.

The thrust tube angle is correct for thrust line. Then the turbine is set parallel to the pipe. (May need packing-on my P-100 the short mounting flange allows the turbine to be ‘tweaked’ to position

Is the thrust line and stab incidence supposed to be parallel?

Has anyone fitted Uni lights on the Joker, I’d like to fit a set, but not sure on how to fit the wing lights, being a one piece wing I can’t see how to get the lights installed in the tips and then get the cables through to the centre. Any tips? Thanks Tom.

My Joker w/ Xicoy X90 weighs in at 7.2kg (about 0.2kg of fuel on board).
How does this compare to others?

My friend replaced his JM100 with an X120 in his Joker. It is awesome and didn't add any weight.
I've never seen a jet have such a short take off roll. It immediately can go vertical while accelerating. The landing and slow speed flight are not altered.
I was impressed.

I think someone is considering an X120 for his Joker....

Congratulations to him... I saw how impressed that person was when he saw a joker fly at 235 mph.

Does the Scholl Joker have the same star on the bottom as the other Scholl schemes?

There are a list of options in this thread.
What brands do you normally chose?

I typically run Savox. So would the 1260 or 1261 be a good fit?

1261’s fit perfectly, no mods needed, and that’s what I installed
