Another JJRC temptation

I decided to convert one of my Jeeps into an SAS desert rat vehicle that the British used in North Africa in WW 2. This project was a lot of fun researching and finding stuff in the spare parts box to put on it. A lot had to be scratch built and I think the only thing it doesn't have on it is the kitchen sink --- and valve stems.

That looks spot on Rex. Good show.
Valve stems Greg? None of us thought of valve stems, till you raised the bar. Dang.

I have one with another on the way. They're fun little things, they are a good contrast to my 1/10 armor.
Nice to have a model I can basically run without a lot or preparation. Hoping there will be upgrades for gearbox
and axles at some point. Would be nice to have a bit more power available and more rugged axles.

Here are two in my collection that are "possibles" for use of the Jeep in a conversion by scratch builders and the 3D guys. I wish I had this r/c model available when I built the 1/16 scale Staghound and Indian Pattern scout car models.
