I agree with Waco, the DLE 30 will be too much weight and flight performance will suffer. I have a DLE 20ra in mine at 11lbs and I think it is a great combo. Remember, more is not always better.

Goldberg Extra (Dle 20)

I am so happy that I followed the advice of Karol and others in building my Extra 300 (Dle 20). This is my 2nd year flying it and all I can say is wow, what a great flying airplane.
