RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

Sure!
Here they're (there were carbon tubes added later for better reinforce).
The whole towing hook was "hand made" from the piece of aluminium.
4 mounting screws and 2mm hole for release...

RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

Mine is ab. 20lbs and flies with ZDZ60 with 24x8 prop (it's a towing tug for gliders).
I can cruise around at ab. 1/3 throttle.
It flies very scale like. If I would like to have a more exciting...

RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

Hi

My Spacewalker had a maiden flight few days ago.
Engine started without any problems, so just after warming-up I've applied some power.
After short distance it started to climb up.
This...

RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

I've just finished the paint job (car paint over Sig's Koverall).
I'm not completely happy with result, but.... it's not that bad at all :)
Now, I'm installing RC and the rest.

RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

Yesterday I've received the Hydro Mount from Toni Clark. It was designed for Titan ZG motors, but I'll use it to install ZDZ60.
Some slight modifications has to be done to the mount (need to...

RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

Yeah.
Koverall is my favourite thing at the moment :)

About the "camshaft": It's a shisha. You're right. It's great party item. Even cigarette smokers prefer this one :)

RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

Mine is currently on covering stage. As stated before, I'm using Koverall (first time). It's a new experience for me, but very positive. It outstaged Oracover (ultracote) in my ranking :)
Here are...

RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

Dan,

Where? UNDER the Koverall or OVER the Koveral, but under the dope?
I'm asking, because will do the same thing on mine (Koverall, dope, etc.).
Mine will be powered with ZDZ60, so a lot...

RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

That's exactly, what I'm going to use on mine.
Koverall and a car paints.
I was wonder how you did the white strips.
I thought you're just used a masking tape and left it not painted.

RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

Hi
It looks great! Exactly the same paint scheme as mine will have.
What technic did you used? It's painted or stripes were cut and glued over the covering?

Will start it again next week :)

RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

I've received mine a month ago and just have started a tail.
O man! What a great kit. There's almost everything :)

It will be powered by ZDZ 60. Should have enough power for a sailplane tow.

RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

Hi

Finally decided to purchase this beautyful kit.
Waiting for it's arrival.
Currently, I've a ZDZ40 engine, but will try to change it for something between 60-80ccm to make it towing tug.

RE: Sig 1/3 Spacewalker

Hi

I've a question for those of you flying this beauty with 40-50ccm gas engines:
How it flies?
I've a ZDZ-40 motor (it's as powerful as G62 - ab. 5hp and much lighter) which previously...
