I was disappointed to hear that my local Hobby Shop tried to use the Saito Gaser on a new plane they built and the engines (brand new and properly broke in) would not hold idle and transition...

Cockpit combing, if you are refering to the padding around the edge of the cockpit, I used the foam supplied with my Sig kit.
It appeared to be some standard insulation foam but soft....

No painting. That is called Nelson Fabric. That stuff is GREAT! Very strong and in my opinioin easier than working with Monokote!

Well, I have finished the wings and wing root. Working on the tail feathers and fuse next. I think I have decided on my G-38 to power this model.
