RE: Fly Eagle F-15 (1/9) Building Thread

Ogg, I'll be looking forward to you flight report. I was considering this myself, as we have 2 Avonds F15s in my local club, that fly quite well on tailerons. However I did opt for flaps and...

RE: Fly Eagle F-15 (1/9) Building Thread

With the steering are as it is, are you able to locate to servo closer to the...

RE: Fly Eagle F-15 (1/9) Building Thread

Hi Allen. Here is another pic from the top.

I made a template with a piece of card, and went from there. It's basically an L shape piece of 2024 alloy. I had to mill the trunion slighly to...

RE: Fly Eagle F-15 (1/9) Building Thread

Hi Sperx. I have mounted my servo on the nose leg. Refer to post 450. Works really well. Zero slop in the whole setup.

I have also modified my stab mounts, with a lump of hard wood, and a heap...

Ouch!

Great idea about modifying the wing spar. I am yet to install the servo box, so will use that hole to install a ply shear web as you have.

Keep us posted.

RE: Fly Eagle F-15 (1/9) Building Thread

I tried to take a pic of the o rings from one of the air control valves. My macro photography isn't the best, but you can see the lumpy edges, showing where it is falling apart.

I believe a...

RE: Fly Eagle F-15 (1/9) Building Thread

Thanks,

Greg
