tmac, I have obtained a 33% Genesis WACO. Which is an early version of the AMR kit. This one has the bagged carbon fiber gear. The newer kits have an aluminum gear.

Dan, I picked up some packing quilts at the local big box and my wife sewed a set for the 1/5 Stinson and 1/3 Sig Spacewalker. They were considerably cheaper than the commercially available bags.

The largest plane I have built is a 1/3 Sig Spacewalker. I would suggest on the rudder/tail wheel you may want to look at SWB for a servo arm and their turnbuckle linkages for your pull-pull.
