Personally I wouldn’t go any smaller, but it will certainly fly on smaller than an 85.

Personally, I put in all the rudder I can get and still be even both directions. The rudder isn’t very effective so I don’t think it’s possible to overdo it.

My timer is set for 7 minutes, K85 and I land with about a third of a tank left. I start the timer before my takeoff roll. I don’t have the smoke tank installed.

Had an issue with my K85, it got sent all the way to Tiawan and back in less than three weeks. Pretty impressive service! Looking forward to getting it back in the air.
