Since I have the cowl out farther than suggested, I installed two pieces of T shaped ply along the sides of the fire wall so the front of the cowl can be secured and reduced vibration....

Thanks for the info, especially about the cowl.
That pictures is nice as it shows where the bottom of the cowl wraps around the LE of the wing.
It sure balanced nice with the engine way out...
