Please don't take this as its time to bash Top Gun, The judges and so forth. I just think that the tides are turning for a few rule corrections, and maybe a new class.
Or Gyro up the WW-II and...

I personally feel that if the jets don't have there own class it will turn into "Top Gun Jets". Given the number of jets verses say WW-1.
I can say this given we were downgraded for a slight wing...

It was a great ride. 1st at Toledo, then 2nd at Top Gun. The owner took the plane home with him and it many never fly again.

One other little thing I saw noted on the scoring sheet was,
electrical harness ?
I believe that had to do with the main wheel well.
Tough.......yes.........but fair.

I don't remember all the deductions they gave but it was all very minor deductions. It all adds up in the end. I do remember one deduction that had to do with the tailwheel area. The servo was...

Here is the scores for unlimited.
The difference between 1st and 2nd..............1.157 points
so close.
Dinos flight score were much higher but it was lost in static.
none the less a great...

They are making repairs right now. Frank Tiano was a great host by loaning a brand new Moki 250 for any parts they need. How many guys would do that!

Just a little update.
They flew the corsair today for a practice flight and about halfway through the flight the engine spit a pushrod.
The pushrod exited the cowl through the front...
