The two tanks were only because that was the only way I could get the quantity of fuel I wanted/needed with the available tanks on the market at that time. The serial system worked well...

I built mine in the early '90's with a 1.08. It makes a very fast monster plane. I used two (8oz) tanks in series side by side and they fit well and worked great. Coverite and dope, all up weight...
