bull the elmers is close to the texture and would work as well, but I found that the minwax stuff really stuck to the wood,it definatly needed a little water to loosen it up and make it more...

this is a product I use and it works very well, Minwax wood filler,it builds up fast and sands nice and smooth,I add just a small amount of water to the can,and stir it well, to make it a little more...

been following this thread for a while lots of great ideas I have been using for my TF P-47 build .
as for WB poly this method works great with little weight and provides a excellent paintable...

here's a trick for bending balsa that has worked for me take a little windex like 15% and water in a spray bottle then spray/soak the balsa you want to bend if you have a jig then tie the wood down...
