Mine only had ball links at the control surface...

Mine only had ball links at the control surface end, the other end of the pushrod is a 90 degree bend that was fastened to the servo arm with a snap on keeper.

I haven't maidened mine yet but the ER-30 retracts certainly appear to be up to the job. Apparently Electron thinks so as well. Anything any larger than those won't fit the mounts.
