I made a rectangle out of 3/8 ply that fit between W4 and W5, from under the rails to the top of the wing then apoxied them in. I wondered about the weight but thought it was worth it.

gmohr Nice job so far. I don't know if you have seen it on the thread, but many have reinforced the gear rails. They seem to be a weak spot in this kit.
Too many of them have ended going through...

I used just the screws that came with the retracts. I drilled, then tapped the holes. test fit everything again ( because sometimes taps go where THEY want to) I removed everything...

Just a question has anyone thoought about installing the Saito 100 inline twin? From looking at
Saito specs I think it will fit? On thier site they say it will fit the hanger 9 51 ARF.

Here you go I think you can see in this pic the rails are different.
I was test fitting the wing when i took these.
