Thanks... it's Chrome Ultracote/Oracover... rivets are made with a transfer wheel, weathering with airbrushed Createx Auto-Air water based paint.

Try it sometime... it's ridiculously easy! And the panel lines are done using a well dulled and rounded X-acto blade and a flexible straightedge....

I used a marking wheel from a sewing kit, lol.. just run it along a straightedge, carefully of course because the sheeting is thin. No treatment on the wood at all.

I've seen the chrome cowl on someone's plane here... did you paint or cover it? I'm covering my P-51 with Chrome Ultracote but I'm kinda afraid to try it on the cowl and air intake.
